Founded in 2014 by New Orleans native Mandy Simpson, NOLA Boards is a culinary lifestyle brand that brings the charm, functionality, and craft of the Big Easy into kitchens and dining spaces across the country. Growing up in the heart of New Orleans’ vibrant food culture, Mandy was inspired to create a line of locally sourced, beautiful, and functional kitchen tools and decor that would reflect her love of cooking, cocktails, and entertaining.

NOLA Boards first gained national attention in 2015 when celebrity chef Rachael Ray named the Marigny Triangle cheeseboard as her top holiday gift, shining a spotlight on the brand’s craftsmanship and unique aesthetic. From that moment on, NOLA Boards has been on a journey to bring high-quality, handmade kitchen products to homes everywhere.

Mandy’s husband, Daren Sumrow, a skilled woodworker, plays a key role in overseeing the production of NOLA Boards’ wooden products. Our Expansion: Introducing NASH BOARDS

NOLA Boards has begun expanding beyond New Orleans, starting with the recent launch of NASH Boards in Nashville in 2023. With NASH Boards, we aim to capture the culinary heart of Nashville, offering a new selection of locally inspired culinary gifts perfect for food lovers and entertainers in Music City. This expansion is just the beginning, with plans to bring NOLA Boards’ unique culinary tools to other iconic foodie cities across the Southern region and beyond.
